Selling digital solutions

The Covid-19 crisis presents companies with a number of challenges. The sales department cannot provide its services as usual. New business is currently difficult to build. Remote services, on the other hand, are being implemented and tested with an undreamed-of speed. The retrofit business offers potential to (partially) compensate for downturns in new business. To this end, it is essential to know the status of the machines on the customer’s premises. New services, especially digital ones, must be developed and marketed. Both lead to sales: identifying and understanding the needs of customers and at the same time communicating the advantages of digital services is no easy task.


In the workshop “Selling digital solutions”, we would like to explore in a small circle with other companies to what extent the integration of digital solutions in sales is successful.

We exchange views with the participants about the changes that companies are experiencing in their service business (particularly as a result of the Covid-19 crisis), which helpful approaches they have found for the distribution of their digital offerings, or whether digital innovation in distribution is only being driven forward to a limited extent.

The workshop “Selling digital solutions” supports companies in answering the following questions:

  • What changes does the Covid-19 crisis mean for companies? What have companies learned recently about their sales and digital business?
  • What changes are coming to distribution if digital services are increasingly marketed?
  • What changes are needed in the distribution structures and channels so that they are suitable for marketing digital (and more complex) services?

The workshop is organized as a free (online) meeting, where we can exchange our experiences, work out new ideas together and identify suitable solutions for individual challenges. The mutual exchange of experiences supports all participants in their own orientation regarding the integration of digital solutions in sales.
